I enjoy teaching greatly and have worked with students of all age groups, but primarily with high school and college students. I have been tutoring for six years and assisted more than 100 students with high school and college level courses, as well as preparing for standardized tests such as SAT and ACT. I have had incredible success working with students in the past through tailoring my lessons to the student and matching it to their learning style. Through assessing the skill-level of each student, I am able to present the material in the most effective manner. I attended an international school in China and moved to the United States at the age of 9. My multicultural heritage gave me an edge in learning languages, allowing me to easily pick up Spanish in middle school. Being well versed in Chinese and English makes me a knowledgeable tutor for both Chinese international students wishing to improve their English and American students that desire to learn Chinese. I, myself, have received a 2350 on the SAT and a 35 on the ACT, so I am more than qualified to tutor for these tests.
